Recently, MING JIANG GROUP and MIX&HOME (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD. officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, jointly investing 3 billion RMB to promote the construction of the Sihanoukville, Cambodia Guangdong Special Economic Zones project. The signing of the agreement marks a key step for both sides to jointly build high-quality development of the "the Belt and Road" and deepen the industrial synergy between China and Cambodia.
The Sihanoukville Port Guangdong Special Economic Zone project in Cambodia is a key cooperative project jointly laid out by Mingjiang Group and Cambodia Shenzhen Furniture Group. As a new high-tech industrial project of the "the Belt and Road" officially launched in August 2025, this special zone is located in the core area of Sihanoukville Port Special Economic Zone, covering a total area of about one million square meters, adjacent to the airport and docks, and has significant transportation and logistics advantages. Both parties will fully rely on supporting policies and facilities such as bonded zones and warehouses, and carry out deep collaboration with the furniture industry as the core: Mingjiang Group will export advanced park operation and management experience, technical resources, and market channels; Shenzhen Furniture Group will leverage its local industrial foundation and supply chain advantages in Cambodia to integrate upstream and downstream resources. Through policy empowerment and location linkage, both sides are committed to jointly building an intelligent and green furniture manufacturing and trade industry cluster, further exploring new spaces and opportunities for cross-border industrial cooperation between China and Cambodia.
At the signing ceremony, Wang Qingchun, Chairman of Mingjiang Group, and Li Xing, General Manager of Cambodia Shenzhen Furniture Group Co., Ltd., took the stage as representatives of both parties to sign the agreement. Both sides agreed that this cooperation is not only a resource complementarity and strategic win-win between enterprises, but also an important practice of actively responding to the "the Belt and Road" initiative and participating in international production capacity cooperation. After the completion of the project, it is expected to create a large number of job opportunities for the local area, drive industrial upgrading and regional economic development, and become a demonstrative platform for high-quality development of China Cambodia economic and trade cooperation.
In the future, Mingjiang Group and Shenzhen Furniture Group will continue to deepen cooperation in green manufacturing, digital supply chain, international market expansion and other fields, work together to explore new models and new paths for cross-border industrial cluster construction, and contribute more exemplary cases of industrial collaboration to the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road".
