The 7th Guangdong High-Tech Congress Opens in 2025

On September 16, 2025, at the Xingheji Hotel in Shenzhen, the Guangdong High tech Industry Chamber of Commerce's election ceremony and the first meeting of the seventh board of directors kicked off amidst great anticipation. This election ceremony is not only an important milestone in the development of the chamber of commerce, but also a gathering point for the Guangdong High tech Industry Chamber of Commerce to embark on a new journey. Through voting, members of the seventh board of directors and supervisory board of the Guangdong High tech Industry Chamber of Commerce were elected, and nearly 700 member enterprises and representatives from political, business, and academic sectors participated in the celebration. As a supporting unit for the event, Wang Qingwei, Chairman of Mingjiang Group, was invited to attend and participate in the event to enhance the connectivity, resource linkage, and win-win cooperation of business associations.

Since its establishment in 1999, the Guangdong High tech Industry Chamber of Commerce has always adhered to the core values of "good technological responsibility, lofty global vision, shared altruistic sentiment, winning spirit and will, and restless life tone", and has been deeply rooted in the soil of Guangdong's technology industry. Over the past 26 years, the Chamber of Commerce has witnessed countless technology companies breaking through innovation cocoons and undergoing magnificent transformations from 0 to 1 and from 1 to N. Nowadays, chambers of commerce have become an important force in promoting the development of Guangdong's science and technology industry, covering strategic emerging industries such as artificial intelligence, robotics, semiconductors, and biomedicine. The annual output value of the industry has exceeded 4 trillion yuan, and a group of individual champions and specialized "little giants" have emerged, becoming an indispensable "technology engine" in Guangdong's "science and technology strong province" strategy.   

With 26 years of accumulated confidence and courage, the Guangdong High tech Industry Chamber of Commerce has written a new legend for Guangdong's technology industry. And this election is not only a "change of leadership" for the Chamber of Commerce, but also a declaration of "starting again": in the journey of building a globally influential technology innovation center in Guangdong, the "seeds" of technology enterprises will eventually grow into towering trees in more fertile soil, and China's first technology chamber of commerce that spans a quarter century will also stir up a magnificent wave of determination in the historical tide of China's technological rise.
